Exercise Information
Before you start any exercise program check with your doctor.
As with dieting, changing your exercise habits overnight can be dangerous without a thorough medical evaluation. Explainto your doctor the exercise program you have in mind, where you intend to do it, and make sure you're physically fit enough to start a program. Be honest with your doctor and let him/her know of any problems you have currently, so they can assist with your exercises.
Most fitness centers have trainers that can recommend a program for you. It will start slowly and gradually increase, which is what you want. Explain your goals, your medical condition, if any, and how much time you have to devote to your program. Most will suggest pool exercises and they do a lot of good without over tiring you or leaving you exhausted.
